Controls

We can also add controls to the top or bottom of the slideshow. Let's add some to the bottom, just to see what they look like.

• Edit the View
• In the Format section, click "Settings" next to "Slideshow"
• In the "Bottom Widgets" section, check the box next to "Controls"
• Apply
• Save the view

Now, when we take a look at the block, we can see the "Previous", "Pause" and "Next" links to control the slideshow.

Slide Counter

The last widget option is the slide counter. I'll add that at the bottom, right below the controls.

• Edit the View
• In the Format section, click "Settings" next to "Slideshow"
• In the "Bottom Widgets" section, check the box next to "Slide Counter"
• Apply
• Save the view

This widget simply displays text specifying which slide is active, and how many are available.

You probably wouldn't want to use all three of these at the same time, but depending on your project requirements, you can choose which one(s) are appropriate.
