There are very few cases that would require you to need the json2.js library. But, if you do find that you need it, this video will show you how to download and install the library.

Installing the Json2.js Library

If you need the Json2.js library because of an upgrade or another specific reason, here's how you do it. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you can safely ignore this video.

  • First, create a folder "json2" inside "sites/all/libraries"
  • Download the json2.js library from https://github.com/douglascrockford/JSON-js
  • Unzip the file
  • Copy json2.js into the json2 libraries folder you just created

That's all you need to do. Now when you go back to your slideshow settings, you'll have a section titled "jQuery Cycle Custom Options". You can follow the link to see what options are available, but most of them are already available through the module without the need of the json2.js library.

Again, this is only necessary in very specific cases, so if you're not sure whether or not you need it, you probably don't.
