The FullCalendar module is an awesome alternative to the popular Calendar module. It uses the FullCalendar jQuery plugin created by Adam Shaw, which mimics the look and feel of a Google Calendar. This plugin provides a full-featured calendar that can be completely customized. You can easily define the calendar labels, and date/time formats, drag and drop events to update the nodes, color code events based on content type, taxonomy, or user, and display events from Google Calendars inline with events created on the site.
In this series, we'll install the FullCalendar module and all its required dependencies, and explore all of the features I just mentioned and more.
